Dreams – Seeds of Creation

Do you dream in color?

I do, I dream in passionate reds, tranquil blues, vibrant greens, and colors that can’t be described in words. Dreams are home to some unique and intricate creations our planet has never seen…..yet.

Our dreams can create the next great invention, solve an ancient mystery or even spark a revolution. Yet dreaming is almost forgotten and has been reserved for a state of consciousness that we have not learned how to fully utilize.

Why?

I wish I had a concrete answer but of course one such as myself can only speculate that it is due to our recent scientific short comings. To simply put it, we don’t fully understand them and can not effectively translate them so it gets categorized similarly to baby talk. Realistically speaking just because babies aren’t forming words in the general manner or vocabulary as “adults” does not mean their content is less coherent, the same goes for dreams if you can not understand the language being spoken that only means you are currently unable to comprehend what the universe is trying to tell you.

Being raised in the 90’s as I was makes you subject to some common public assertions, one of them being that we were the generation of everyone gets a trophy. As destructive as this process was I can honesty say there was another trend around that time which had a profound impact on me, I was encouraged to dream and to not limit my potential. Of course this sounds like nonsense to most because the idealism that is required for a concept of this nature is far too scary for most to accept.

What do I mean you ask?

Well if you allow yourself to dream then you might not accomplish that dream and then you will feel like a failure. That is the obvious answer most can see, naturally there will be a few off shoot negative minds that will say what about the dreams of wicked people? To them you must honestly look around and say I believe they are only people not afraid to dream lately anyways because the world itself is caught in a nightmare of greed and insanity.

If we the majority of good people, yes I said it majority,  could band together and dare to dream of a better world, what would stop us from making it a reality? Nothing. Yes yes, we have all heard it before from people much more accomplished than myself. Is it not disrespectful for us to not listen, do we not do ourselves a disservice by walking around with our fingers in our ears and heads bowed in fear?

I know it can be scary to look up at the sky and hope because what you would like for the future may not happen, honestly speaking it probably wont happen. Does that mean that you were wrong to dream?  I can safely say no. It means that you are one single part of an amazingly intricate organism that has an infinite amount of possibilities.

So why don’t our dreams come true? Well for some us they do while others they never will. I think one important factor in making your dreams into a reality is not limiting the manner in which those dreams are allowed to manifest themselves into your life. All too often we fall into this common misconception that we have the best idea for how things should turn out though we don’t have all the information. Sounds a little asinine to me, it’s as if we were interested in learning a lesson but only allowing your teacher to use four letter words.

Our dreams are the lessons we are asking the universe to teach us, but instead of being the student of our destiny we have fallen into the guise of trying to be the master. Let’s get real if we were truly the master of our destiny we would not need to exist.

Too deep?

Okay, I’ll reel it in a bit.

When we look at some of the great people throughout history they were never afraid to dream and share that dream with others. Can we say they saw their dreams come into realization within their brief stay in consciousness? Most of them  never got that opportunity and knew they would not. They knew they needed to be brave enough to dare to dream something so big that it might take more than their own ability to make it a reality.

Would you consider those great souls failures? Of course not they are the heroes we quote and aspire to emulate, they are the ones we desperately seek out with our hearts and minds. Through that process their dreams continue to live on long after their flesh has decomposed.

The real question here is not whether you should or shouldn’t dream but more importantly are you willing to take the chance and dream? Are you brave enough to look uncertainty and calamity in the face and say, “Yes you do exist, but in this world of duality that means your opposite exists in equivalent potential.”

If you have made it this far in my rambling then I must ask a favor of you. Take just 5 minutes out of your day and dream, don’t wait until your asleep to practice this do it as soon as you possibly can. Then write that dream down, share it with a loved one, post it on your mirror, or record it in a voice memo whatever it is you want to do with it just please treat that dream with genuine appreciation because it will do the same for you.

As always you are worth MORE THAN GOLD.

THANK YOU and I LOVE YOU.

  1. My 5 min dream was very unrealistic

  2. Awesome article. The world around you doesn’t have to be the way it is. Dreams are what makes humans so unique because we can act upon them.
